I had a really excellent experience in the stroke unit (between 21st and 25th April this year). Even the food was good…..but the staff were better. I had such kind and competent treatment, never left in the dark about my condition, always given plenty of information and help when needed and made to feel informed and secure about my illness. I also didn’t realise that 12 hour shift were the norm, so many of them must have been tired, but no one showed it. Well Done Stroke Unit.
