Just had the most amazing day with Gerrard! Truly a guy who loves his job/life style. The setting is amazing but the birds are better, especially little bramble! Would love to start the day over again. A must do! Thank you so much x

My partner bought the Owl Hour experience as a birthday present and we had the most amazing time! We walked around the woods with two owls, a long eared owl called Bramble who was so sweet and liked to sit on our shoulders, and a beautiful barn owl. They were free to fly around amongst the trees and surrounding fields, which was great to see. Gerard was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgable, and obviously loves his birds very much. As a bird lover it was a wonderful to see these species up close, but this experience would make a great gift for any animal lover. Would highly recommend and am seriously considering booking onto the half day experience in future to see the hawks and falcons too!

We went today for my boyfriends birthday and we had the best time. I had great communication from Gemma over email. We fell in love with the long eared owl, Bramble. Gerard was amazing and you can really feel his pure passion for his birds. The grounds were stunning too and this was absolutely worth the money. One of the best gift experiences I have ever purchased and will be purchasing more for other family members!

My husband and I had the most wonderful day at Herstmonceux, taking a succession of birds of prey flying in the woods and fields. Sublime! Gerard was a perfect host, filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. The best day of our year, by far. Thank you so much.

Just been for my second visit to East Sussex Falconry & it did not disappoint. Walking in the woodland and parkland of Hurstmonceux Castle with a hawk, then an owl & finally a falcon is a very special experience. Being able to feel their lightness on my gloved hand, smell & stroke Bramble's feathers & see their graceful flight close up is a privilege. This hands on experience twinned with Gerard's huge knowledge & passion for his raptors is a must do! No doubt I'll be back for another dose of Bramble landing ony head in the not too distant future.

I have never been to another falconry experience, so this experience was new and felt totally unique to me. It was an immersive one. We walked the ground of a beautiful 15th-century castle with our very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide Gerard, and one or two birds never far away. We learned so much about the art of falconry but most importantly about the birds of prey and their incredible superpowers. They are wonderful and full of character. We felt so so lucky to be part of this experience and will warmly recommend anyone to do the full day experience.

Some family members (11, 14 & adult) loved their day of Falconry. To the extent that my son said it was the best day of his life.
