Went there for a haircut cut the other day. Good prices and nice hospitality. I feel that too much was cut off. Having said that it looks alot healthier. My stylist was nice enough but abit nervous. However it would have been nice to have seen the back. It was nice to have a cup of tea while I was having my hair cut. Next time choose a sink where the water taps are not so temperamental. Oh and I don't take to being told how to sit plus the receptionist nearly over charged me

My mother has told me that going to college is a fantastic life experience, and will change your life for the better. Since i joined East Surrey College in Sep 2022', i found that the college doesn't really care who enrolls into a course and if they're behavior is suitable for the course. They only just told me that i have to do work experience to pass my course, despite when i first visited the college they said it wasn't required. Maths is a no-go here, on all levels. One teacher told me that 20 x 8 was 215, and i knew it was not true. Another teacher tries to teach the Functional Skills class with the most compilcated methods of solving a question. Like for example, she made us use partitioning to solve a division question, which took most of the class five minutes to find the answer when i found the answer in a minute using Bus Stop method. The cleaning of bathrooms is horrid, like they couldn't be asked. Students vape in hallways and in class, and teachers are push-overs because they don't want to get fired for using tough and strict language like "settle down" or "get out of my classroom". And after the assault on campus in November, i feel very uneased here and i am worried i will die at the hands of abusive pupils and bad education. I recommend you stay far far away from this college, because it's nothing but scandal after scandal, and bad teachers will ignore the smarter students because they only just know what they're doing here.

I registered and paid for a course this Saturday. I got to reception at 8.45am and the person behind the counter told me to wait for the receptionist, when they arrived they told me to wait and it looked like my course was on, it wasn't listed on the scrap of paper that listed the cancelled courses. By 9.15am I asked if they knew what was going on, to be then informed the course was cancelled. I'd driven all the way there on a Saturday when they had plenty of time to let me know in advance. The organisation is shocking. Really poor experience and I won't be coming back.
