I would not recommend. I was supposed to be with the Halton Surgery, however it is almost impossible to get an appointment here and I am regularly transfered to east park. One of the GPs here also has a huge attitude problem and is very patronizing and rude to patients and has upset my wife on a few occasions and made her feel belittled. I have been with this surgery for over 30 years. A few years ago it was superb with amazing Dr's like Dr Addlestone. It has since rapidly declined and it is now very poor in my opinion. For the first time in 30 years I am now looking into changing GP's and will do so as soon as possible.

Can't get an appointment for any day apart from the day you call and its basically just luck at that point if you get through to them... I have mental health conditions and I also have medical needs I need to get prescriptions approved or my medical condition will worsen and I won't be able to eat food... Edit: I just had a phone call with my doctor and he told me he won't give me the requested dosage of medication and upon me telling him that my condition is pretty serious and lowering my dosage could lead to me being in the emergency room he just straight at me and said "that sounds like blackmail" like seriously? Telling ur doctor the truth is blackmail is it?

How can you operate a healthcare system with no forward appointments, I have a daughter with special needs who needs new medication as instructed by specialist services in the hospital. We have received letters asking to call the GP to arrange, when we call they want us to play Russian roulette with the telephone system at 8am to try and book an appointment for medication that has already been approved by the hospital. What a way to treat people. The senior management team of this surgery need to ask themselves some serious questions about the way they operate, they’re putting lives at risk!!

To obtain an appointment, patient need to ring @ 8 am,which is not convenient to all because of work schedule.I understand that some patients cancel their appointments but it should reflect on their diary (if they have one) which time slots are available. I tried to book an appointment but the receptionist kept on telling me you need to ring @8am even though the appointment I am asking is not necessarily today or tomorrow .To the management,I would suggest that you should review your system to make it more convenient to your clients. Hoping to see this changes in the future.

Terrible patient care. An elderly lady awaiting an endoscopy needed a Covid test verified to be able to attend the appointment. She was unable to travel to the clinic where the endoscopy would take place and was advised to get verification of a negative test emailed from her surgery. East Park refused to do the test as "it is not something we do". Not only did they refuse this but the Patient Services Manager, Lisa, was very rude and had no clarity in what she was saying. Poor service and a worrying lack of care for their own patients.

I've only lived in Leeds for under a year. I need my medication. I've had specialist support reffered from my hometown gp for years. They were the ones who put me on repeat prescription for this medication. I moved here and my very simple request for this medication was declined which has me completely bewildered as that decision is just incompetent and cruel. I am now in a battle trying to get an appointment just to explain how much I need the medication as I can't even book a telephone consultation in advance. You have to call at 8am in the morning for a same day appointment. Judging by the reviews I'm doubtful. I also work nightshift so thanks for that ha. It's mid April if this is what it's like now how am I going to be treated in the winter months when sickness is going around? Receptionists also like to raise their voice at you. I'm giving this surgery one more chance but so far... by far the worst service I've ever received for anything.
