Great Station, easy to get too, loads of parking spaces, never busy and very near to the M1, The station has a nice atmosphere too, Probably one of the best railway stations in the UK & certainly the easiest to drive too.

Two female platform attendants watched as my husband tried to get off the train at EMP, did nothing to help him, and watched nonchalantly as the train left the station with him still on it. The train was running late, and my belief is that they cared more about that than the plight of an individual passenger. He had been travelling for over 12 hours, and had caught the train from Gatwick.

'East Midlands Parkway' is 5miles (!) from 'East Midlands Airport' in the middle of nowhere. Phantom station. Idiotic, pointless and, most importantly, misleading. 15 quid for a taxi ride from airport to station, too. Will never use again.

An excellent site of power and travel infrastructure intersecting with the artificially constructed concept of nature. Love to see the cooling towers towering over me as I wait for my train, I had a call with my comrade in the meantime, and it was very tranquil. Can't wait for this combo of power, rail and nature to be fundamental to an ecologically sound society!

Not a bad little station but let down terribly by "gourmet" cafe bar. Most miserable rude unapologetic people....they really shouldn't be in the hospitality business. Had run out of baguettes for breakfast sandwiches by 8.15 and had ketchup but no brown sauce for those who manages to get a baguette! People are here because they have to travel. Chances are they're busy and are grabbing food/coffee because they have a minute. Certainly not because of the charm offensive, value for money, taste or level of service.

It’s a very small train station and has all (well, most of) the basic facilities (toilets and baby changing area, a small cafe, staffed ticket office, indoor seating area, free ATM machine, and even a basic first class lounge). But, and here is a big BUT, they fail to provide any drinking water facilities. How cheap and easy would be to install a simple water fountain? And it could help people not have to buy single use plastic bottles. As a regular commuter I made several enquiries about this and still no response. I hope they improve soon.
