FAQ

How do you ensure the health and well-being of the pets in your adoption program?

We ensure the health and well-being of the pets in our adoption program by providing them with proper veterinary care, regular exercise, healthy food, and a clean living environment. All pets are examined by a veterinarian before being placed for adoption, and any necessary treatments or medications are provided. We also have trained staff and volunteers who monitor the pets' behavior and medical needs while they are in our care.

What is the adoption process?

Our adoption process involves completing an application, meeting with one of our adoption counselors, and undergoing a home visit. We require potential adopters to provide personal and veterinarian references to ensure that the pet will be going to a safe and loving home. Once the adoption is approved, we ask for an adoption fee, which helps to support our rescue efforts.

What kind of support and resources do you provide to new pet owners?

We provide a variety of resources and support to new pet owners, including information on pet care, training, and behavior. We also offer post-adoption counseling, which allows new pet owners to ask questions or seek advice as they adjust to their new pet. Additionally, we offer training classes and workshops to help pet owners learn how to care for their pets and build a strong bond with them.

What is your policy on returning adopted pets?

We understand that sometimes things don't work out with a pet, and we have a policy that allows adopted pets to be returned to us. However, we ask that adopters give the pet a fair chance to adjust to their new home before making the decision to return them. We also require that the pet be returned to us in good health and with all necessary paperwork.

Can you provide references or testimonials from satisfied adopters?

Yes, we can provide references and testimonials from many satisfied adopters. We have a number of happy pet owners who have provided us with positive feedback on their adoption experience and the support they received from our staff and volunteers. We would be happy to share some of these testimonials with anyone who is interested in adopting a pet from us.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Barwell. A charity shop full of a variety of goods including books, bric-a-brac, crafts, toys & also a few clothes/shoes. A few parking places at the front of the shop or opposite outside the co-op.

This place is crammed floor to ceiling with donated stock, Unfortunately a lot of the stock is massively overpriced compared to other charity shops in Hinckley, Nuneaton etc. It's a shame as if there pricing structure was inline with others they would be able to sell more and turn over stock a lot quicker. A few examples are: Pint Glasses are Β£2, but anywhere else is 20-50p. DVD's in most shops are either 3,5 or 10 for Β£1 where as here DVDs are 3 for Β£2.50, Blu Ray's and computer games are well over what other shops would charge Β£1 for. If prices were more reasonable I would have spent my money and returned again but its unlikely.
