I'm a disabled man, amputee, wheelchair-bound with incontinence problem. I don't have a wheelchair from Newham Wheelchair Service nor incontinence pants. Not any help for me and my paralysed partner.

They are not trustworthy, they speak behind your back and if your situation is messed up, the service gets even worse. They don’t support and they don’t care. NHS mental health crisis line is full of African/Jamaican women that show fake support as well as discriminate and you Never have the chance to speak to someone helpful even if your life depends on it. They are extremely rude in the calls and always have problem with hearing. This is the worst number to call if in mental crisis. Rather end yourself than speak to Mental health crisis line African women who struggle to hear you as well as ‘support’ you but they don’t

The Lighthouse in Leighton Buzzard has been my first experience of East London Foundation Trust and is the perfect example of the Trust's outstanding rating. The Lighthouse has been for me both a safe and friendly place to go and I honestly believe I would not have come through recent difficult experiences if I hadn’t been able to go there. Chatting to other service users I have found that this is a common experience for others also. For the first time in a very long time, at the Lighthouse I have felt cared for and supported, no longer alone and accepted as I am. The Lighthouse has given me hope for the future which I didn’t think I would ever feel again. I highly recommend the Lighthouse to anyone who is considering attending. Yes it takes courage to go the first few times but everyone there is really welcoming and understanding. It really is worth a try.
