A remarkable remnant of East London's Jewish history, the East London Central Synagogue is one of the four remaining places of worship in the East End, when as recently as fifty years ago there were upwards of 200. Lots of other synagogues consolidated with this one, so on your visit you'll discover commemorative plaques from long-forgotten places.
