Beautiful place for end of life care. Spent 5 weeks here with a loved one and the care was amazing! Not just for my late father but for me also. They look after your loved ones like they are there own and take care of the people around them as well and make sure your involved every step of the way. Every patient has there own private room with there own bathroom. Not limited on visiting (maybe different because of covid). Can stay all day and night if needs be. Meals are amazing. The care is amazing. The grounds are beautifully kept for when u need some time alone. All round it's a lovely place to spend your final days or for treatment. After care and therapy is amazing to. If it's something that's needed for someone who needs end of life care I'd definitely recommend east Lancashire hospice. They let u be a family member and not just a carer when it's needed.

Behind the hospice facade there is a rife culture of narcism, control and bullying of staff by the senior management. There is a reason East Lancashire Hospice repeatedly posts the same vacancies!!!

MY WIFE AND I HAVE RECENTLY BEGUN TO ATTEND THE HOSPICE FOR SOME HELPFUL THERAPY. THE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN SO BENEFICIAL TO BOTH OF US. THE TREATMENT BEGINS WITH A PLEASANT WELCOME AND THEN WE ARE GIVEN THE CHOICE OF PERSONAL THERAPY TO SUIT OUR NEEDS. CHLOE AND KELLY HAVE GIVEN US A WAY TO RELAX FOR A SHORT TIME, WHICH HAS GIVEN US SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO EACH VISIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARE, ALAN & KATHLEEN
