Recently got my first ever puppy. Alan gave some really good advice which I'm positive prevented me making mistakes. Following the appointment I had the 12 month coaching support to fall back which has given me reassurance I'm not alone. Alan is friendly, plain speaking, knowledgeable and experienced. Highly recommended. Thank you Alan!

Alan was fantastic with my 8 month old doberman, I cannot explain how much of a difference it has had on my dog in just a few days, I thought it would take a lot longer to see some results. My dog was barking, jumping up and pulling on the lead. Alans methods are simple, easy to remember and most of all they work! I would highly recommend Alan.

Alan at East Kent Dig Training has literally made my life with my dog 100% better. I was absolutely beside myself with Casey my German Shepherd who wouldn’t stop pulling on the lead and barking at anyone that approached my house! No matter what I did she wouldn’t listen to me and went into protection mode. Alan met with us and explained a lot about how Casey sees herself within the household etc which made a lot of sense, he used various techniques and offered a lot of experienced advice and a couple of solutions to our problems. He took her out on the lead and gave me pointers on control and I can honestly say, she is a completely different dog. I can’t believe I waited and struggled for so long thinking this is just what some dogs do. I can’t recommend East Kent dog training highly enough. For anyone out there that is considering some help and advice this is definitely the place to come. I can enjoy my walks and time at home with Casey now. She is more settled and so much happier which makes my life easier and home life more enjoyable. Thank you so much Alan!

I can't recommend East Kent Dog Training enough! : Alan came to help me with training tips for my 13 week old puppy. His advice was really straightforward to follow, definitely made sense and is already making a difference (and it's only been 48 hours since he came). Maisie is a lovely puppy but she was very bitey and was chasing my cats. The biting already decreased by about 70% and I have started to see a marked improvement with the cats.. He also introduced me to clicker training (which I was resistant to originally) and again that seems to be working. Maisie certainly loves it and seems to respond very well. In the past, I have used a different dog behaviourist (with my old dog) and they didn't really help at all. In fact, that experience put me off behaviourists, however I met someone who recommended Alan, so I thought I would see. I was really impressed - Alan's advice is very easy to follow, practical and specific and it quickly makes a difference! Definitely worth the money!

Alan visited us & our recent rehomed Flat Coat Retreiver. Toby is 16 months old & a real handful! He promised that Toby would be calm & walk on his lead without pulling like a train. When Alan left 2 hours later we had a 'new' dog. Alan left us with the knowledge of how to change our beautiful boy's life for ever. Toby walks calmly & happily on his lead we now know that following Alan's advice Toby will stop jumping up & 'mouthing' -- in 2 days Toby is realising that it is not acceptable to 'mouth' our hands & arms. We are not super brains but as soon as Alan sat down in our lounge with our 'naughty teenager' we knew we had found the right man.He explained how to show Toby what is required of him & listenening it was easy & obvious what we should be doing. Toby is happy & we are happy -- we will continue to follow Alan's advice. We are now into a couple of short training sessions a day (Toby loves them) The great thing is that we have a lifetime of support if we need it. Thank you Alan & photos to follow. Jane Photos 2 months on : We can't thank Allan enough -- Toby improves in his behaviour each week. We have a lovely lively happy dog & we will never be able to thank Alan enough. Our dog is a joy to us.

Alan is AMAZING. I highly recommend him. We had issues we thought we'd never crack with Tilly, 2 hours spent with him and were watching animal planet on the tv, walking without pulling and barking. She's not barking in the garden or at the neighbours. Thank you so much.
