Amazing service from every point of contact from these guys, true professionals who clearly take a lot of pride in their work. From the (free!) consultation to picking the repaired drive up they were incredibly helpful and transparent about what was needed to be done. Needless to say the recovery of my files went perfectly and they were able to get all my files back from a 10 year old clicking drive that was on deaths doorstep and for HALF the price of a local shop I went to before. Excellent service from the full team - after initial consultation I used east coast data recovery to ensure my last twenty years of photographs were properly backed up and recovered onto two new HDD drives (one as a spare back up of the back up) good advice which I’m now feeling much more relaxed about ! Travelled from Glasgow to use them in person rather than send away to England. Cost was much more competitive that way too. Would recommend highly 😁

Many thanks to the whole team! Facing near disaster when our business laptop hard drive failed we contacted East Coast Data Recovery. From the outset their understanding of our problem was obvious. Drove from the Highlands and dropped in late morning on the Friday. By the time we got back that day they had phoned and confirmed that the data was recoverable. The laptop was ready to be picked up on the Monday afternoon with a new, fully functioning hard drive and 100% data recovered! Cannot recommend enough to anyone suffering the same fate! Excellent service. Dropped MyPassport hard drive leaving files unreadable. ECDR clearly explained difficulties in recovering data from this drive type and put significant effort into determining the feasibility of extracting the files. They produced a complete file list from the damaged drive and identified costs to recover the files. I decided not to go further and offered to pay for effort already spent. This was declined as the effort was considered part of their 'free consultation'. Highly recommended.
