Always made welcome here even though they are under great pressure to see everyone with limited staff and funding and long hours - from what I have seen a great job done by all.

I don't often write reviews but on this occasion I feel I must. I visited the practice yesterday and saw Dr Ahmad. What a lovely doctor. He actually listened to me and then assessed carefully how he could help me. He has reinstated my faith in doctors and I would just like to say a huge thank you.

Rang at 08.00, 5th in line. Three minutes later I spoke to a friendly receptionist. GP called me at 09.01. Offered to see me at 10.30 (same day)as I was at work I asked if my appointment could be later. 16.45 I saw the GP. Prescription printed off after consultation. Brilliant service. Thank you .

The pharmacy is a joke. They state they are busy, yet are quite content leaving it at that. I have always been under the impression, that if there are issues in performance, then take measures to rectify the issue, and not make up lame excuses. If they have a problem with medicines waiting to be checked by the pharmacist, then look for resolutions. Maybe restricting your opening times, to allow the pharmacist to catch up. Is this a case of putting profit before customer satisfaction. Until they can get their act together, I suppose the best option is to take sandwiches and a flask of coffee, to while-away the time.

We are all told to ring at 8am to get an appointment, there has been many a time I have tried to get in the queue but lines are always busy, then when answered later you are told you must ring at 8am, how is this system still in place?

Awful. Not only can you never get an appointment you never get a text message stating if meds are ready or not. Also the reception staff don't have a clue about the beds of the patient. No empathy and down right ignorant. CQC need to get involved.

The staff and doctors are wonderful here. I only have a problem with trying to get an appointment. It's like a very stressful game. Sit on the phone at 7.59 and keep pressing call. Only to get a message there are currently more than 5 in the queue. When you finally get there and the doctor that has been seeing to a particular problem isn't available. Cannot make an appointment for the day they are just start all over again. This cannot be good for both patients and staff.

Try getting an appointment to see a doctor is impossible. If telephone appointments are the thing, then just consult Google, you'll get the same result! The pharmacy is a shambles, 4 people were there when I went and only 1 person was dealing with patients. Reception is downright rude and talk down to you every time. I'd go somewhere else if you are looking for a new surgery. Terrible.
