Really poor service and full of hidden charges. Firstly, they advertise “free van hire” to help you move. It’s most certainly not free. Firstly charged an insurance waiver of £28 but then also told of a £250 excess. I’m unsure why you need a waiver but also liable for excess as kind of defeats the purpose of a waiver. Secondly, the storage unit displays the monthly quote online. Once there, and on moving day when too late to change plans I was advised there is an addition £75 fee as a security deposit. It’s an empty room. I’m not sure why a £75 deposit; on top of the whole duration is needed for an empty metal room. As the saying goes “if something is too good to be true; it normally is”. Staff were friendly enough and polite however it’s a classic case of “the price online” against lots of hidden charges and extras. I would avoid and go with a more transparent company. £250 later for 4 weeks of storage is extortionate. I await to see if the £75 is returned or some phantom damage will appear. I’ll hold my breathe
