Earth Cycle are great to deal with. I had initially ordered top soil elsewhere and the other vendor let me down, which caused big delays. I got on the phone with Tom at Earth Cycle, and our top soil arrived four days later! It is a very nice quality, there's no rubbish or stones in it, and there's clearly visible organic matter. I'm only just planting things in it now so can't comment on how well the vegetables will do in it, so I may come back to edit this review in a few months. So far, very happy indeed!

What a pleasure to do business with this company. This was my companies first contact with Earth Cycle and it could not have been better. Mr Tom Nicholls handled my order with warmth and friendliness but also with complete authority. Our delivery today was excellent, the topsoil superior and I look forward to doing more business with both Tom and Earth Cycle. Well done and thank you.

I have now had a number of deliveries of soil and compost from Earthcycle. It has been an easy process with great results. It isn't the cheapest product on the market, but the quality makes it worthwhile

Just Don't Buy it. It's Not as advertised. Total Nightmare. **If you are having growth issues from this compost, yellowing, curling or cupping of leaves, stunted growth or no growth, please research into aminopyralid, weedkiller, herbicide and nutrient deficiencies to see if this might be the cause of your issues. I have had terrible interactions with the company on trying to resolve for initially a replacement and then a refund, all of which was denied until i sent them a formal letter (info below). The product was also extremely low quality and full of glass, plastic and other trash much larger than 10mm as the other reviewers say, which isn't PAS100 compliant. I also suffered badly with herbicide/weedkiller damage. This material has killed and deformed all of my previously flourishing and healthy plants (huge numbers of vegetables and flowers all destroyed and inedible). I have had to bin them safely (not brown bin) to prevent putting these contaminants back into the system. I'm having to remove, deconstruct and dig all the contaminated compost, out of all my garden and vegetable beds (3 tonne bags), its heartbreaking as a gardener and very expensive on time and money. **I conducted a growth experiment, plants (from the same batch of seeds, sown at the same time) that have been transplanted into a different compost are completely fine and healthy (boiassay), only plants in the contaminated compost are deformed and showing symptoms. I was told in writing that their cow compost and most of their other composts contain municipal, tip collection and landscaping waste, which they initially denied. It's not just from the 'organic' dairy farm and i believe the marketing to be quite misleading on this(some of this has since been updated on the website since the complaint). My 3x 1000L bags are almost certainly contaminated with a herbicide or weedkiller most likely an Aminopyralid family which has deformed my plants and made them inedible. Edible plants contaminated with these substances are banned for sale. The rest i suspect, suffered terribly from lack of proper nutrient content. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, it states that the goods purchased must be as described, of a satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If within 6 months you have determined that this isn't the case you are entitled to a Full Refund plus delivery costs. Please see the Which? website on consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act. I was given every excuse and told many falsehoods in an attempt to 'fob' me off and get me to go away for a month before it was finally taken seriously (upon sending them the letter about breach of consumer contract) and i suspect this might put a lot of people off entirely. As a result of my letter i have now received a refund, don't give up! Save yourself the nightmare and buy elsewhere. If you have already purchased and are having issues and receiving a stonewall as i did, please see the Which? article on your consumer rights.

[edited] As I cannot leave a review on their webpage (weird, as they have so many positive comments there..) and they're not responding to email nor picking up the phone (okay, covid, I know, but still), I'll leave it here, to hopefully warn future customers. Received the 1000l bulk bag with veggie compost one day after requested date, which is actually good in these days I guess. However at first sight I saw a mass of plastic, glass and other non-organic material that is most definitely not supposed to be there. I am gutted with the (missing) quality and most definitely do not want to use this compost to grow my own veggies. So what now? Maybe I'll get a companies response here EDIT: Still not very happy with the quality of the product, veggies aren't too happy with it either, HOWEVER I have received a very friendly email and the costumer service has found two solutions for us, that we could choose from. So, one star for the product, would love to give 5 for costumer service, so I'm adding one star in total. EDIT 2: Veggies haven't grown after 6 weeks, even with adding manure and feed. had to exchange compost.
