Honestly I am so lucky to have this on my doorstep. My experience from start to end was amazing. Their dresses are incredible, they are so stylish and there are so many to suit any body shapes and styles, it was so tricky to choose one (and I couldn't!). They are crafted beautifully and made from scratch exactly to your measurements. I would sing from the rooftops about E&W because the really are the best. I always knew I'd find the dress of my dreams at E&W. Sophie, her team, and gorgeous doggy Fritz are absolutely amazing. Myself and my girls took a trip from London to Wales to visit the fitting room in Cardiff and it was such a gorgeous space. Sophie was such a delight. She was friendly, welcoming and really helpfully talked through how some of the dreses could be altered or enhanced. I ended up going with a champagne slip - I always knew I didn't want a white dress - and Sophie never made me feel like I was making a wrong choice. In fact, the opposite. E&W truly is a brand for the alternative bride. On our trip the fitting appointment before us slightly overran, which meant we had a little less time than planned, but Sophie generously offered for us to come back again later in the day. I'm so so thankful Sophie took extra time out of what would have been her Saturday evening because that was when I found the one - Olwen. The absolute dress of dreams for me. Perfectly ethereal, in fitting with our woodland wedding vibe, and the sparkle was just INSANE. I ended up buying my dress through a stockist nearer to home but Sophie did an absolutely magical job with my dress. Thank you so so much!

From start to finish this was the best wedding dress experience. Knew I wanted separates, and came across some e&w designs in a bridal store. Got an appointment at the studio itself to see the full collection and meet Sophie herself. So many that I loved and couldn’t be happier with “the one”. Amazingly talented designer and all round lovely lady. Thanks to covid I got to wear my outfit twice - once for our micro wedding and then again for the big party a couple of months later. Super comfortable (even on a baking hot day,) super stylish, amazing detail, I felt like a princess. Would wear it every day if I could!

Couldn't recommend Sophie highly enough - from the initial appointment and all through the fittings she went above and beyond. Throughout multiple changes of wedding dates (Covid) and the suprise addition of a baby bump (!) she was endlessly patient and flexible. I loved my dress so much and got loads of compliments on the day - my husband commented that it was absolutely 'me.' So a huge thank you to Sophie and all the team.

I went to a few bridal shops before coming to E&w but none of them really understood what I had in mind, none of it felt right and it all felt so pushy. When I came and met Sophie it all just clicked, she wasn't pushy, she was incredibly helpful explaining what could be done and made me feel comfortable straight away. I chose a dress that first visit. When I saw it made... Wow. Just wow so talented and breathtaking! Nothing was too much to ask for and it made my wedding planning so much better to know I could trust Sophie and the team to execute the perfect thing! I have and would 100% recommend!
