Disgusting customer service. The gas pipe to our block of flats owned by the company was damaged meaning our entire block have had no heating or hot water for over 24hrs. My housing association and Cadent gave me contact info for ESP to ask for an update and the out of hours customer service lady that I spoke had no customer skills at all, asked me the same questions hundreds of times over, didn’t have any record of the works being carried out, had no idea who Cadent was and would not let me speak to a manager when asked. She hung up on me in the end after claiming I was being rude by asking when the gas would be fixed due to having a one year old baby in my home with no heating in the middle of January.

1st time calling them due to an issue at a new build property. Call answered within 10 mins but then left on hold (transferring me to someone who can help) for 1hr 14 minutes with no communication midway. Just thought to check if they were infact open till 6 to find they had closed 25 mins ago! Not the best of first impressions at all!

Unfortunately. You come across companies that you have no choice to use and they know this and so don't put any effort into customer care . Much less doing there job professionally ! ES pipeline is this company . They appear not know how to conduct themselves when it comes to electrical power grid mantainance . We have had several power outages of over 4hrs (one more than 9hrs) and when quizzed on what was happening to resolve it they didn't know . They also said they didn't know what was happening to fix the issue or any detail at all . The operators are rude . How dare I be annoyed my food in the fridge is ruined and want to know how much longer the power is likely to be off ! Be warned they are out of there depth! I will have to buy a backup generator if I don't move .

ES Pipelines are absoltuley the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I speak to them frequently through my work and the service is appalling frankly. Staff answer the phone with a sigh, like I am bothering them. They don't give their names when they answer the phone, like every other customer service company does and they honestly seem like they hate being there. Their response to my customers who are waiting three weeks for meter installations are callous and rude. The staff really need to be re-trained on how to speak to customers.

Appalling service thus far . Unfortunately if wanting to alter your gas meter you have no choice but to use the transporter of gas in yiur road. Mine very sadly happens to be these guys ....who have charged me £3523 for less than a days work. Cadent would charge around 800 and Then offer discounts of 33% off that amount if your builder has dug trench...my quote excluded esp digging....and they failed to meet their standard of 20 days contacting me after I'd paid . I'd like to say don't touch them with a barge pole...but there is no choice for me. I hope their customer service department can redeem this company...I await to hear .

Have one contact number that they have had disconnected for days, i have autistic son that cannot even wash because of leak on the outside pipes which is there contracted responsibility and would also be safety risk if i hadn't had british gas cap it off , please try to use someone other then these people if you can
