We had a boiler fitted, left a complete mess the installation was not completed the man said he would be back to complete 2 months after numerous calls and emails they sent someone out who said everything looked ok, now we have no hot water or heating and they are near impossible to get in touch with I advise against anyone getting a boiler fitted from these!

Still waiting 3 months for them to complete a half finished solar installation. Cannot get through on the phone and they do not answer emails. Have demanded payment despite not completing the work. Don't even respond to official complaints. Utter nightmare. Ombudsman is the next step.

DO NOT BUY A BOILER FROM EON!! Wish i had seen these reviews before giving them my hard earned money! They are the worst company i have ever dealt with… TAKE MY ADVCE AVOID!! So many complaints but no one answers emails they are not interested! The boiler is dripping down my wall! The inside of my old boiler has been left on my kitchen wall (no cover on it) I was upsold a combi boiler for an extra £800 so i could have hot water in my shower NO HOT WATER i was not asked the make or model of my shower before the sales man sold it to me - please please don't trust them! The boiler would not fit into my boiler cupboard that the sales man said it would! You'd think with all the money they make from ripping people off they could afford decent staff.. a sales man is not a surveyor! Eon do not fit these boilers they are contractors!

Purchased a Tado smart thermostat on 28th November 2022 & have still not received despite the money being taken from my bank! Have sent numerous emails, but was finally informed from Heather that the installation team were a separate company & they couldn’t help me, advised to call various phone numbers. Have tried to call, but after waiting 75mins each time have given up ! Received voice mail from Tim at Eon on Monday 27th February which basically said he hoped I was pleased with my installation …. No number left to call back!!! This is beyond frustrating & ridiculous…. Eon have my £350 but I cannot contact them. This is a substantial amount to me, thought it would help monitor my usage more effectively over the winter months. My current thermostat does not work properly. Absolutely disgusting

We got our boiler replaced last year and the shoddy job of installation has caused massive amounts of issues to my house. Because it wasn’t fitted in right my boiler leaked from it pipes above my bedroom and we’ve had to re plaster the entire ceiling for it to happen again. I will never recomend these guys for your boiler. It will cost more upset and money in the long run trust me.

DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS! One star is one star too many. Booked boiler install for a particular date, took a day off work, which cost me money because I'm self employed. No one showed up, so I called around midday to see when the engineer would be here, and was told, oh, no ones coming!!! But no one told me!! I was absolutely fuming, and after asking for a refund, as I've now booked someone else who WILL come and fit my boiler, I'm still waiting for my money back, nearly £2300, a month down the line!!!! Emails are being ignored, and after calling the number, all I'm still being told is to wait for the money!

DO NOT USE EON for your boiler installation!!! I had my boiler installed 6 months ago and SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE was caused to my property by the sub-contractor that Eon appointed. I have contacted Eon over 15 TIMES over the last 6 months. They sent a supervisor to take pictures of the damage in FEBRUARY, but once they realised how much damage was actually caused they do not want anything further to do with it! I have called them (they say they do not have a direct telephone number) I called their 'reception', they said would respond in 3-5 days (this was in March and I am still waiting). I have sent physical letters to their address, ENDLESS emails and I receive NO RESPONSE!!! DO NOT TRUST EON. I have a hole in my bed room ceiling which is leaking into the bedroom where I sleep, I spent my entire weekend cleaning the mess/brick dust and bricks that were left in my house, I’ve been left with substantial damage to my kitchen cupboards (and an unsafe kitchen as a result), damage to my walls, ruined paint work, an awful plaster job on my kitchen ceiling, no house broom (as the contractor used MY BROOM to sweep his brick dust into the corner of my pantry), brick rubble outside my house, dirty bedsheets and towels (as I had to lay them down on the floor to stop him from ruining my new floors with his dirty and wet shoes from constantly walking in and out), a terribly laid carpet, a broken back gate, broken kitchen cupboards and an old flue hanging out of my bedroom ceiling, which has been leaking into the room since he left. IT HAS LITERALLY BEEN RAINING INTO MY BEDROOM FOR 6 MONTHS. Again, in case you're still not sure. PLEASE do not use Eon for your boiler installation. Go for literally ANY tradesperson giving you a much cheaper quote. I wish I did.
