Confrontational and unapologetic employee from E&D blocking a road with his van this morning. Despite large parking spaces within 20m of the van he insisted that he had a right to prevent other people from using the road. Appalling attitude - the public highway is for everyone, and he was just too lazy to find a parking space.

A bit of a mixed bag. The work to install a new roof on our house seemed to be done to a high standard and they appear to have some skilled and diligent workers. However their care for the rest of the property was somewhat slapdash, they didn’t adequately protect a glass conservatory without us chasing them. They also didn’t secure the roof properly during the work and we suffered some internal rain damage. The office admin was generally rubbish - after 3 months and umpteen corrections they were incapable of getting our address right. I *might* use them again because they seem to be the go-to roofing company in NW5, but I’d probably shop around a bit first.

They accidentally left a heavy piece of unused roofing asphalt on our 4th story roof. This blew off in the wind, crashing onto a lower roof. If the wind had blown differently it could have landed in the street and injured someone. They also left me waiting all Saturday for an appointment they simply didn't show up to. Two days later, their only explanation was a text message "Sorry was away boys did not turn in on Saturday can we reschedule"
