An engineer came to view site and met water board engineer on site. Took photos and measurements. A week later we received their quote for the work. We accepted quote, engineer arrived to carry out work and discovered he'd been given completely wrong description of what needed to be done. He called office who then told us that the work would cost twice as much and could not be done for another 2 weeks. We found another contractor.
