I joined the Climbing Centre with my partner over the last 2-3 weeks. We signed up for a month's membership as we climb regularly and it pays for itself after 4-5 climbs. The staff have been wonderful on every visit. The owner was super supportive when my partner needed a little refreshing on ropework. There has already been a big wall reset to keep things fresh whilst we are there and everyone who we meet there is really friendly. They run plenty of courses and lessons fow anyone who is looking at getting into climbing too. A great local business that is definitely worth a visit.

OK Went there recently. Two halls, one for lead climbing, one for bouldering. I used only bouldering hall. Nice routes, good ventilation. Routes coded with coloured tags rather than holds' colours. You can get used to it. Why only three stars? 1. Very time-consuming and not user friendly first time sign in, with the not responsive tablet. It was quite frustrating (OK, I'm getting old, but still) 2. There is nowhere to clean your hands after your session, from chalk, downstairs at the locker room (at least nobody told me if there was such a place there) so to do this, you have to go to the upstairs toilet, however using it with climbing shoes on is prohibited. 'Catch 22'. So you end up with changing your shoes with dirty hands. 3. Lockers are not secured with any key system. Fair enough, I'm guessing nothing ever happens there, but still if you have your wallet and documents with you... 4. WiFi - you get some BT acces (I'm guessing free for the whole village, but I may be wrong), but there was no signal in the bouldering room, well I know I'm going there to climb, but it would be nice, to send some pictures to my friends/family in the meantime.

Oh my God. This place has to be seen to be believed. Big variety of climbing walls from 2 to 10 meters(?) high and from beginner to advanced with overhangs. Tons of climbing guides in the little library area! Hot tea, coffee, cakes, snack and more. Toilets. Sitting area with lots of seating. Nice instructors! Lots of action from young to old so you don't feel alone. Loved the music. Well lit and clean. A real gem!
