Worst experience ever, most corrupt place ever. Nigel gave 2 serious faults for moving off when I was in the priority, and junctions. Never had issues with any of this. Failed me on purpose, I have been praised for my driving by multiple instructors, and never got any serious faults while doing mock tests. Got a fault for appropriate speed while never exceeding the speed limit but driving 30 in a 40 due to the states of the roads while being wet which will send you off track. š After having just parked back at the test centre he had already grabbed to door handle to hop out as fast as possible. DVLS is corrupt, they only make sure you pay and do not bother if you've passed or not. You pay Ā£60-70 for a person to take a ride in your vehicle and prey on you for you to fail. Avoid this place at all cost.

Had my third driving test with Nigel on the 09/03/23 at Winchester test centre and he was honestly the kindest, most compassionate, understanding person who made such an incredible effort to relax me and allow me to persevere with the driving test whilst not feeling under pressure or anxious. Best test experience Iāve ever had due to Nigel making the effort to understand the best ways in which I concentrated , and ensuring I felt calm through the whole 40 minutes. Thank you Nigel, it made such a difference!

If I could give no stars I would, absolutely terrible experience on my test here.. very unprofessional, cannot remember my examiners name but he was absolutely terrible, he couldnāt even crack a smile since the moment he saw I had a nicer car than the average 17 year old. Scummy jealousy. He made me feel very uncomfortable the second he stepped in my car. I passed the following week with no further lessons or anything and my examiner was baffled as to how I āfailedā infact I failed on something I do for a living, parallel parking and driving carsš apparently no observation when if I didnāt observe I wouldnāt have been able to park in the designated spot safely without hitting anything. My driving on the test couldnāt have been better, lol This guy is a melon whoever it was DO NOT TAKE YOUR TEST HERE!

Passed my driving test here, I had a very good session with Neil who was really nice and helped me calm my nerves. He made me relaxed through the test. Winchester is a good place to pass the test, the roads are not so busy and the route is not as complicated as most. Iāll recommend it.

Simple building with a small waiting area. Difficult test area with many square curb endings, heavy traffic, tight streets lined with parked cars and narrow country roads with traffic calming. Unless you are local, you're not likely to have good experience of these kinds of roads. Given that it is so hard to get tests right now, you might be tempted to search for them quite widely. Cancellations are common at Winchester, but I can't recommend traveling for an hour or so for this test centre.
