Cant begin to explain how annoyed I am with dvla I've been waiting 3 years for a medical license to be renewed filled in all the relevant paperwork and been given the all clear to drive by my gp yet dvla just keep saying their is no time scale and I need to wait for them to contact me that's now been 3 years

Very distressed with how DVLA handled my issue. I had to change my name on my driving licence, sent it to DVLA along with my new passport. Sadly, a close relative unexpectedly passed away the same week and I had to have my passport in hand due to the funeral taking place in a different country. I contacted DVLA via online chat and was told they need to see proof of my travel tickets to process my request. I cannot book a plane ticket without my passport information, and cannot travel without my passport. The lady on the chat wouldn't send my passport back to me without processing my name change. I was left going in circles, distressed and in tears over this, and facing extreme anxiety while grieving. I've never been treated with less empathy and humanity...

They keep trying to charge me for not having insurance on a vehicle that I returned to the dealership after it broke down several times. It was insured until the day I returned it. Money grabbing rats that show no compassion or sympathy for anyone.

Pathetic, My dad doesn’t have a voice as he’s had cancer and his voice box removed.. I had taxed his car for him with disabled tax, which he didn’t pay for but showing as diesel tax not disabled on his new log book, therefor I cannot put the private plate I brought him on to his new car. No one will help me because I’m not him and they won’t accept emails.. I have POA and they said it’s irrelevant. They keep asking can he just talk or say yes or no…!!!! Shocking, stressful

I change address in my provisional license and it comes with wrong picture…I don’t have time to send it back to change my original photo so i went for practical test with same provisional license …I passed the practical test and as a examiner advice me to send provisional license (which have wrong picture) , my BRP card, pass certificate so DVLA can identify me and send my Full Driving Licence with my own picture…. I send on 24th February an now its been already 2&half months I didn’t received my License & Brp card....I called and email multiple time to DVLA but they don’t have any reply and reason why they are holding my all documents till now. Should i go for lawer or police or what should i do? Any suggestions please

Webchat not working. Impossible to connect by phone due to being too busy. Email bouncing back as too busy. Approx 6 - 8 months wait by post, absolutely useless. No other organistion is allowed such incompetance, why does DVLA continually provide such a dismal service?

I have been waiting over 2 months just to recieve an updated logbook simply because the first name was wrong on my original one. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR OUTDATED TECHNOLOGIES? Once you send that letter off to them via post and cheque (LOL in 2023?) you have no idea if they have received it depending on the delivery you choose, and you have no updates and they even advise you NOT to contact them until a significant time period has passed. Well 2 WHOLE MONTHS have passed and I contact them all the time to get them to hurry up, but they won't. They don't care at all even though I have told them numerous times that my car insurance policy is on the verge of cancellation because I do not have a logbook in my name! They don't care about anyone, they are crooks! But God forbid you owe them something, then they will send you mail within 24 hours.
