Before I start my review, I Wouldnt tell people not to buy these, just be prepared to put some work in. The delivery for mine was brilliant, dropped off on my drive and fully wrapped (exactly what the website said) I chose to buy a log wall summer house instead of building a garden room, which would have been a similar cost. It wasn't as straightforward as it should have been, as it needed multiple tools to fix issues the average diyer wouldn't own. But I didn't make some modifications. I don't regret buying it as it does look nice but I had to fix the issues myself because it's a bank holiday weekend. - instructions show how to fasten the twin walls to the base, but if you only have the single grooves you are left guessing. The diagonal drilling to the base looks horrible to, leaves the screws on show but also has a massive risk of splitting the wood. So i only fastened the front and back to the base. As they have less height. - 2 pieces of the side wall had been routed upside down, so they wouldn't slot together. Had to chisel the fitting out, to get it together. - you get free double glazing but there's an inch gap all around the window... Instructions suggest it's an expansion joint, but I ended up taking the rear panel off and insulating the gap - both roof trusses had to be planed down about 8mm, otherwise there was a massive lump in the t&g roof on the front and back wall. 2 edges were fine, but the other 2 were all over the place. - the locking bolts on the door seem to fasten into the fascia of the frame, rather than the log itself. If you pull the locked door hard enough, you will just rip the wood out and voila, open doors. Will be replacing the bolts myself. - I had 3 floorboards that still have bark on, over the grooves, i can work around it or maybe just replace the lengths. - I had to glue and clamp a piece of roof because the groove had split. - one wall piece is 10mm shorter than all the others, i hid that at the back. - had to drill out the holes in the door handle with a steel bit, as it says sealed up still. I did modify mine a little. - I built a 3x2 stud frame for the base instead of sitting it on a bunch of loose beams. - I used the floor boards for the roof, it was an accident at first but stuck with it when I noticed as they give it longer eaves on he side, which should keep the walls drier. Just strengthen the edge for wind. This also meant I also had to joint a lot of shorter pieces to finish the roof. - Not actually finished the floor yet, but I'm going to insulate it with 50mm jablite and board over it. Then I'll either sand and varnish the floor, or laminate it. - will see how it handles itself in the winter, but may end up insulating and cladding the internal walls, just don't want to lose that wood look inside.

We used Dunster House on our most recent garden installation for an Atlas Pergola. The team were great from start to finish and the quality of the pergola is fantastic.

I would like to inform you of my sheer disgust with your service overall. Firstly on delivery day the delivery drivers proceeded to unload my order on the public pathway in front of my property. Stating they could not move over the wall into my garden a small wall might I add due to health and safety reasons. I then contacted someone from the Liverpool depo who stated the men should put it down the side again they refused stating it was health and safety. In the process a member of Salford council has approached myself and stated the item could not be left there as that is council property. Therefore myself whom is 6 months pregnant and my 78 year old Grandsd had to move all the delivery over the wall. In what world is delivering and unloading onto a public foot path which I do not own delivering to my address? I paid for a delivery to my address. The gentlemen then asked me to sign the delivery paperwork. Absolutely not as how was I supposed to check all items on the delivery list the way they unloaded it? Since then everything has got worse. There are screws missing pieces of wood missing which I have no had to replace at my own cost as due to the weather time is of the essence to get the lodge up and treated. I tried to call someone however you are very quick to take my money but when it comes to an issue everything is to be handled by email? How convenient. I would like someone to reply to me asap regarding this matter as paying just short of £3000 for something I should not have come across any of these issues. I await your response otherwise I will have no alternative but to contact trading standards and the ombudsman. Service: Delivery

Having considered starting from scratch and building an outdoor office, we found Dunster House and aren't we glad we did. Offering a range of shapes and sizes to offer a solution for your needs, we choose a terminator office. From delivery to finished project, we've completed it within 6 weeks (just weekends). Having opted for insulated floor and roof, the office is comfortably with a small heater. Great product and company to deal with. Being fairly good at DIY, these are well made and quality, I'd fully expect it to last the test of time. Services: Delivery, Cabin design & building

Pleased with the shed overall. (Adam 1) My only grumbles are that the floor bearers aren’t very deep so the shed only just sits above the concrete slab. Also the instructions are a little vague. I paid a joiner to build it for me and even he was scratching his head in places. I’d have had no hope on my own. I’ll have to keep an eye on the bottom of the shed to make sure it isn’t rotting over time. Fixing that small but important detail would have given you 5 stars. On the plus side, delivery was prompt and nothing was missing. Service: Shed delivery to installation sites

Pretty happy with my Dutch barn and play swings / slide. Good quality timber and fixings, well designed. Strap marks on the sheds panelling let it down though. Pretty disappointed in that. All in all, probably better than others in that price range. Recommended.

Spoke on the phone to someone 2 months ago when the price of the log cabin was £5399. He said he would be able to do a discount because I only live 3 miles away from the depot. I told him I'd ring back after sorting out my finances. Then on Sunday I noticed the price was at £4997 in their summer sale, so was ready to place an order on Monday when they opened. Then on Monday the price was back at £5399. When I spoke to an online agent called 'Naomi', she effectively called me a liar as she said it wasn't £5399 in May, it was £5799. Nope, I know what I saw and who I spoke to! And also said it wasn't £4997 and I must have been looking at something else. Again, no. I know what I saw. I only ever look at one item as it's the only one that will fit perfectly in the space I have. Sale lost, will look elsewhere.

Gazebo was as described and was delivered on agreed date and time. Instructions where very clear and I was able to construct it mainly myself with some help when required (i.e holding the bigger stuff whilst I screwed it together!). Cordless Impact Driver and drill recommended! Resultant product looks excellent - very pleased
