Absolutely shocking sales tactics. How are double glazing sales still aloud to operate in this way Absolutely beggars belief. Our first encounter was about a conservatory roof which was off a cold call knocking on the door. The sales pitch was showing us the cover of a brochure and telling us its 12k. There seemed to be no alternative other than buying their flagship roof. Our second encounter was regarding a composite door which we'd enquired about at Mcarther Glen. The second sales person tipped up, politely pointed out we'd wasted the first sales person's time, then went on to actually give us a genuinely good quote which we wanted some time to consider. We asked to have the quote sent via email as we had with safe style, everest. The representative absolutely refused demanding that price was only valid if we immediately signed a contract! He then continued to get louder despite being told 3 times to lower his voice! When this failed I was left with a man shouting his sales pitch at me whilst thrusting images of the companies owner in my face recieving an OBE from her late majesty the Queen of England, whilst shouting "what does this tell you" Absolutely bemused by this tatic and again trying to get him to lower his voice whilst attempting to reassure our dog this guy wasn't a threat. I asked politely if he was going to put his quote in writing. At this point he stood up shook my hand and left... I'd asked for time so I could review the manufacturers used and read reviews and specs of products and materials. Which is how I've ended up here reading multiple reviews of disgruntled customers. Judging by the current company performance I can't see his majesty inviting any of your employees over for a second photo opportunity.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY Since the beginning of our experience the communication between the mobile staff, us and the main office has been so poor. Staff not turning up for appointments scheduled by the office, or turning up when they have been cancelled. There is one lady on the office phone line who is rude and aggressive. Their tactics of calling you several times and leaving answerphone messages, emails and letters all at once are also aggressive. Last week I had several missed calls, an answerphone message and an email all arrive within a 2 hour window when I was at a funeral. I read the email and it just confirmed the details of installation (no request for me to call them back). I called the office back after the funeral before the reception and explained that I needed the frequent calls to stop right now as I was at a funeral and was essentially told off and told I MUST communicate with the company. No apologies and no empathy. I was so upset. I called today as I was told installation would be at 8:30 (it is not 9:30) and no one has arrived. The same woman took my call and reminded me that I was rude on Friday and that if I didn't take my reference number off her immediately she would no longer take my calls. I just received a call from the builders and they are late because they were given the wrong postcode. The plumber was given yet another postcode. The work was sloppy. My doormat was ripped and not replaced. My skirting was damaged and replaced with another colour. The inside step is a dark brown which doesn’t match anything. The outside doesn’t even have a cover on the step.
