Worse than Edinburgh council. The houses are infested with rats. There are mentally ill people living next to potentially thriving families. Whilst they allow junkys to just roam and shout and bawl endlessly. For 2 years I have had an insecure door.... It is an absolute farce this company (Wheatley) is expanding. Disgusting service, disgusting company

Earlier in the year I had a carbon monoxide leak which led to me being decanted for 5 days then on Sunday 18th December it happened again. SGN came out and capped my supply on the Tuesday the man came out to do an investigation and the upshot was he found a fault with my boiler and my cooker. I went out the same day and bought a new cooker but couldn't get it fitted because there's no gas . They offered me heaters but I can't afford to run them. Because of it being Christmas it will be 29th December before they will be out to repair the boiler. I've no heating or cooking facilities I've got to use my shower for hot water. They say that they are dealing with emergencies well where does that leave me ? I live in a disabled property. The housing officer is useless I've had no contact from him at any point. Luckily I have been looked after by friends and family or I could have been left cold and hungry. Its inhumane leaving someone in my condition like that especially at Christmas. Maybe they should be looking after their existing tenants before profit after all they are quick enough at taking rent.

Disgusting! Left to suffer and battle constant noise/trouble ASB everyday. The housing officers are useless do nothing but lie give you false hopes or ignore you and your desperate plea for help. Being their tenant will give u mental health issues. Avoid this company if you can for your own sanity I sadly have not been in a position to do this.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards tennants. Reported that our security doors did not work nearly every year since I moved into there property. We are now part of Wheatley group East and reported this again in September now 19th November and they still do not work. During lockdown WLHP/ Dunedin Canmore/ Wheatley group (apologies they have changed there name twice in one year, its a joke) did not carry out communal cleaning yet continued to charge us service charges. I had to vacuum and clean the communal area as they refused to, even when lockdown ended they never returned, when I called about it they said "they could not have more than one person in the area at a time" ??? They have an excuse for everything. Called about my smashed up gas box and was told it was the supplier s responsibility so I contacted the supplier to be told it was not there responsibility..so called housing association again, I got told they would raise a repair..months later still not fixed so called again and waited another couple of months by this point the issue was not just the gas box but the whole area was a mess. I forwarded photos to my housing officer and eventually got the gas box sorted, there excuse "trouble sourcing one" yet I found many online???

Can genuinely say this is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Confiscated and disposed of my belongings without asking. Then whenever I'd call, I'd have to explain my situation again every time and I'd always get promised a callback but that never came. Absolute disgrace of a housing association.

Awful company ,had a water leak in kitchen kitchen flooded running through to hall floor, plumber and electrician came, plumber cut the water in kitchen off said would come by. Tuesday this is now Thursday afternoon 2pm called them again, keep getting told plumber will call me when coming in mean time offered to send bottled water .electrician wasn't much better I had put electricity off, when he put it on it tripped, he told me I will only have lights on ceiling till they come back, I suggested can't we try see what was tripping was a extension lead, otherwise I would have only had lights. Was told would come back later that night with humidifier s which I got 5pm next day.i think every repairs I've had done all very shabby, plaster off the walls fitting windows. They should get their act together @.
