As a seasoned non league fan I came down to see a relegation battle as they’re always interesting - but felt compelled to leave at half time. The atmosphere was really horrible, despite the 2200 in attendance many people didn’t seem interested in the game and it all seemed to be about trying trendy beers and taking selfies. It felt like the gentrified people who have come into the area have looked at this club as one of their niche interests and the old fashioned atmosphere of non-league really wasn’t here. It was like wading into some sort of trendy bar as opposed to a football ground. I know that a lot of people are happy with DHFC - hence the gate numbers - but for an old school non-leaguer I can’t recommend. Watch out for the turnstiles, ridiculously small and card only. Not great at all.

If you love football, add this place to your bucket list. Everything that is wrong with Premier league is missing here, everyone and I mean everyone is welcome, it is basically a large garden party with footy going on in the background. People go to mix and socialise, decent food and happy hours on the ale and u will not find a friendlier place
