Duke’s is by far one of the best bars my wife and I have ever been to. Glauco made us the most incredible Vesper and Lemon Martini. It is a must visit in London and we cannot recommend it enough. We can’t wait to come back and try more drinks from Glauco!

The worst experience ever. As former guests of the hotel, we wanted to visit the bar. We knew it's best to get there early as they operate on the principle of first in first served. We therefore arrived 30 min prior to opening and were the first to queue. We also made ourselves known to two staff members to ensure people wouldn’t forget us. To our surprise, at 3 pm doors were opened and they let other non-hotel guests in, neglecting us. To our worst surprise, staff gave the message that we'd better come back within 30 min because there was no more space anymore. This lack of service and respect is jaw dropping and is apparently what the hotel today stands for. Never again will we book a room here. Never again will we want to have a drink here. Apparently, today 5 ⭐️ is interpreted by the management as the right to neglect people and to right to make fun of people. Good luck, from the the American Bar at The Savoy, where we’re enjoying a nice cocktail. Cheers!

I’ll give DUKES a 3/5. First of all, the martini was expertly made. Very well done, and highly recommended. However, the quality of the martini is the saving grace of this bar. The pretentious waiter who is on a power trip, the lack of service once you’re seated, and the high likelihood that you will not be able to get a seat on your first try, makes this a sub par experience overall. I don’t recommend trying this place unless you happen to be in the area, or if you’re staying at the hotel and can get a reservation.
