I am working with Liviu for exactly a year. I am adult but I am from people who believe it's never to late to start something new. Liviu seen a potential in me and told me his homest opinion not to stop squeaking on the violing but keep practicing. After couple of months I got a proper violin and moved from beginier to level 2 then 3 then now we're on level 4- well I'm still trying. :D honestly he is the most positive, understanding person with bit of artist twang- which is what potential artist/musician actually needs! I highly recommend sessions with him for beginiers to advanced students- he is honestly best in what he is doing! If that would be fomebody else Id probably give up or lose the passion for it long time ago but I'm still trying my best.

I am not used to leaving reviews, and to be frank this is my first rating that I have ever done, but I have to give my honest opinion about this gifted musician who is also highly skilled at teaching. It is always difficult to predict what set of skills that particular teacher is going to posses before starting a lesson, and if they would be suitable to progress my daughter's passion. Therefore I went through one of the music schools in the past with rather huge disappointment until I have found Dudley Violin School website and Liviu the violin teacher. After the first lesson it was noiticable that music is an attribute of his life, and his passion is luming through the notes he plays on the violin, but above all that he represents that oldschool type of teacher who is fair but firm and demands student's full focus and engagement, but on the other hand makes the lessons fun and challenging. My daughter is a talented musician but sometimes needs that extra push of motivtion and Liviu always ensures she stays on track and aims more from lesson to lesson. I can't say highly enough how grateful I am that we had the opportunity to meet Liviu. Thanks for the great lessons and I look forward to many more! Always 5 stars!

Fantastic lessons! If you want to learn and get qualifications or just improve on the violin through a music sheet you bring along, there is no challenge with the insightful teaching you receive. I've been having lessons for nearly 8 years and have not regretted it since. The experience and holistic approach I have received, targets the specified areas with a positive impact on the rest of the skills required to perform.
