It’s obviously a very busy service but the doctor I saw was brilliant and the medication he prescribed has taken away like 75% of my pain without needing to resort to strong/opiate based painkillers. I couldn’t be more grateful!

I went there with worst pain .After one hour doctor has seen me .Firstly her body language was very discriminatory. Secondly I told her about my pain she was very rude that she said u should thanks to GOD at least u r on ur feet .I was like excuse me .she refused to give me any treatment as she was going to pay herself for my treatment. Such doctors should be banned and their licence as well 🙄

Disgraceful experience. The one nurse on reception needs a personality transplant. Middle aged, blonde hair and glasses. I waited 7 hours to see a doctor. I was very poorly ( all symptoms of sepsis) After 4th hour I told her I felt really ill and faint. She told me to "just sit down then" When I finally saw the doctor he said "youve only c9me here because you can't get in to see your own GP". said my symptoms were due to menopause. 3 days later I was rushed in with peritonitis and a perforated bowel. An emergency colostomy followed.

No person centred care whatsoever receptionist just gossiping with each other behind the desk when you ask them a question it’s like your really putting them out… and then the doctors don’t call patients in for ages as soon as one patient leaves it’s a very very very long time before they call another patient in

Utterly terrible experience! Certain (not all) reception staff are rude, totally useless and downright arrogant! There was only 1 doctor working and a few nurses who seemed to spend more time walking about, chatting and on break, than they do with the actual patients! An 8 hour wait just to be told some very upsetting news in a highly insensitive way (that they assumed we already knew but unfortunately didn’t) and wait for it, this bit is exceptional! Urgent Care can’t make a diagnosis - It’s basically just a glorified GP Surgery (operated by a private company called Malling Health) to triage you elsewhere! I fail to see what service the department even provides? Not once were we informed or directed to a different/correct department, even though we filled out all the forms, went to all the desks and spoke to the reception staff (multiple times). Absolutely fuming, rest assured the CQC has already been informed!

Just been in with our eleven month old, it's Christmas eve so as expected it was rammed. But the people on the desks were brilliant. They were getting through people quickly and even offering free drinks and refreshments to us as we waited. Some people had been there a fair while, but the higher priority ones were very quick to be seen. The gp who saw us was excellent - and was very thorough. Fair play to all invovled, and thank you.
