I recently attended the Intensive Beginners course which I really enjoyed! It was exactly what I was looking for to get a bit more comfortable with the different modes and functions on my camera. It was the perfect theory to practical ratio too :). Would highly recommend for beginners!

The Beginners Photography Course was fantastic. The number of participants (6 max) allows you to share experience and to use one another as "models" to play with shots, angles, lenses and light. The course is easily accessible with a large amount of practical sessions in the studio where you have little model to practise the depth of field, the focus etc. It gives you the confidence to go out and play with your camera. Aga, the professional photographer, was extremely helpful and explained technical aspects very clearly, taking us step by step. There was plenty of opportunity to ask questions, query anything that we did not understand first time round. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and cannot wait to have the opportunity to put into practice what I have learnt. During the course you are issued with a booklet highlighting some of the aspects of the course. It is also useful as a reminder of what you have learnt. After the course you also received a very thorough PDF file with everything covered in the course that you can revisit at your leisure and serve you as a guide, should you have forgotten some aspects of the course. The course is designed to help you find the confidence to move away from the programmes built-in your camera and explore the manual setting and become more creative with your camera. A very worthwhile course.

Recently attended the Intensive Beginners course which really helped me understand my camera on manual mode. The course was detailed but Georgia made it easy to follow answering all our questions and stopping to help us whenever needed. There was plenty of time to try out what we were learning as the day went on especially as the group size wasn’t too big. I can thoroughly recommend it.

I attended the beginners half-day course as an introduction to using my new DSLR Canon camera with Aga. She was fantastic, she has great energy and I learnt so much! My camera skills have improved dramatically. I would definitely recommend taking the course. I also booked another one to one session with Aga to learn how to take portraits in a studio setting, she taught me how to create the images I wanted to create on a professional level, through the correct lighting set up. I gained so much valuable knowledge that I am now using today. I plan to book more sessions in the near future!

Such an amazing 4 hours! I learnt so much! The course was relaxed, informal and highly informative. Roland spent time with each person and explained their individual cameras to them. He is highly knowledgeable, but with a kind and gentle way of teaching.

I attended the beginner's photography and Lightroom course earlier this month and couldn't recommend them enough. The courses were both great and the instructors couldn't have been more helpful. They both went above and beyond and tailored certain bits of the course to help me achieve my goal of taking and editing work headshots.

I had a six-hour course with Roland. We spent about 90 minutes having a sit-down seminar, with the remaining time (actually 5 hours plus) spent wandering around St James Park, Trafalgar Sq etc, putting all Roland's tips into practice. The course was immensely valuable, and has improved my skills immediately, not just in terms of composing and taking photographs to achieve maximum effect, but also how to complement my improved photography with more complex post-processing. Roland is very experienced and knowledgeable; he articulates the things he wants to convey clearly without "talking down" at all; he is flexible on content and will happily explore any particular issues or questions that I raised; and he is easy to be with. I completely recommend this course to other DSLR users.
