This was my second tour with DS Roadcraft. I had previously done the Normandy tour (highly recommended) and was keen to do the Germany one. The host Dougie is extremely knowledgable and the routes and accommodation that had been selected in the route down and back were amazing. Once in Germany, Dougie arranged check in of everybody which made the whole process pleasurable and smooth. The accommodation is well selected allowing you to experience some traditional French and German hospitality and we even got a WW1 battlefield tour from our stay in Germany. During our 5 days in the Black Forest, I got to experience some of the best roads I have ever seen in my life. There was a great mix of riding experience and I learnt loads as DS Roadcraft use safe and appropriate systems to sniper everyone rides within their abilities without the group getting separated. A well organised tour, I would highly recommend DS Roadcraft tours.

Booked their Black Forest trip in July. Weather was fantastic and only equalled by the host Dougie, the itinerary of roads and quaint comfortable places to stay en-route. The first stop off in France had an optional tour of a WW1 battlefield, run by the host of the first hotel in France and was exceptional. Our guide was really knowledgeable but also enthusiastic about the subject. A well chosen stop off by DS Roadcraft. Into Germany on the second day and our accommodation was in Seebach in the Black Forest. The location was spectacular with beautiful views from my balcony. The next few days were spent exploring some great roads, trying Black Forest gateaux and experiencing the area around the B500. Riding tuition/guidance is available from the team and not forced on anyone. For me, just having 6 full days on the bike whilst watching the instructor ride was an education enough. Overall, I'd thoroughly recommend using DS Roadcraft for a proper motorbike tour with some history and great locations.
