Came here because they accept Tesco club card vouchers, food was good and so was service. Easy to pay with vouchers.

Nice place and good food, just let down by dessert and slow service. It was a Wednesday afternoon so the place wasn't exactly heaving. Had a lovely lunch out in the garden where service was relatively fast and the food was good quality. However, after our mains, it took half an hour for our desserts to arrive and they didn't even bother clearing our plates before they were delivered. Creme brulé french toast was advertised with fresh fruit - there was non. Brownie advertised as accompanied with clotted cream ice cream - it wasn't, it was just plain vanilla. I know very well what clotted cream ice cream tastes like and this wasn't it. If I'd have known I'd have ordered it with cream as I'm not a huge ice cream fan. Aside from this we had a nice time and would definitely come again.

Unfortunately the Drum did not live up to our previous excellent experiences. Some of the food was not well cooked and my French fries were not hot. The "private room" needs some attention, in particular some of the chair seats were stained and dirty, and there was a problem with the lighting, which made the room dim. However, that room is a huge bonus for the pub and should be made a bit more welcoming.

We had my husband’s birthday gathering there yesterday and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. A special thanks to Alex and Debbie who went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Both the food and the venue were great. Would recommend for a special occasion
