Richard taught my son for several years from around the age of 10 or 11 up to about 18. He coped brilliantly with teenage lethargy , and on many occasion changed the course of the lesson depending on my sons mood, and always encouraged him to keep going and not give up when it got a bit difficult. I would highly recommend him to anyone... My son is now studying music and tech at Liverpool uni, drums being his main instrument and passion. Thankyou Richard for all your hard work and perseverance. ☺

I have been having drum lessons with Richard for nearly two years and find him to be an excellent teacher. The studio is well equipped for play along and the Drumsense programme is logical to follow and has really helped me progress. Richard explains things clearly and the variety of things covered makes the lessons interesting and fun. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to play the drums.

I had been self learning consistently for about a year before beginning lessons and feel I progressed more over the space of several lessons than I had the entire year previous. Richard is a great teacher with a lot of experience and a great demeanour. The facilities are great and my lessons have quickly become my favourite part of the week. Can't recommend lessons with Richard enough.
