We would highly recommend Nick for drum tuition. Our 12 year old has been having weekly lessons with Nick for a year. He has progressed very well and taken exams. Nick’s attention to the basics and detail has set an excellent bar at which to start. Nick is very patient and communication is excellent.

I went to nick after having lessons from another teacher and he showed me a completely different side to drumming. I made great progress finishing my grades, then quite quickly moved on to technique and interesting fills etc that you wouldn’t learn in grades. He helped me become more of a well rounded drummer. Very patient and an amazing teacher. Would recommend.

Nick is a professional and patient teacher, and also very encouraging. My son has been studying with him for four years, and I can see massive progress in his playing. Nick is very nice and organised and always can answer questions quickly. After each lesson my child is having some things to work on. He doesn't just focus on grades but also teaches variety of playing techniques. I am very happy I had chosen lessons with Nick for my son, I can highly recommend him.

My son has been practicing with Nick for several years and made a steady progression across grades. He loves lessons. Nick is good at motivating and encouraging home practice. The studio location is great - no hassle to drop off by car or send by bike. Definitely the best music teacher we had - across all other children/instruments/teachers combinations

I would wholeheartedly recommend Nick. He is a fantastic drum teacher. I am nearing retirement and had never played any musical instrument although I love listening to music. I started lessons with Nick 5 years ago and the experience has been brilliant. He is patient and expert at breaking things down to get learning points across. I can now play drum grooves and fills from some of my favourite rock bands. Something I never thought possible. Thank you Nick!
