Danny is a fantastic teacher whose passion and knowledge of drumming comes through in each lesson. Starting from a complete beginner, he was patient with the teaching and allows you to not only learn, but have fun whilst you're doing it. The progression in and between each lesson is clear and he gives you the chance to have a say in what you would like to learn. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone, of all skill levels, looking for lessons.

Danny is flexible to whichever technique or style you wish to learn, and always tries to tie lessons back to songs, which improves practice at home. Danny is a truly inspirational teacher and musician. He taught my 10 year old son Jamie in London and where others failed, he managed to completely switch Jamie on to drumming in particular, but more broadly, music in general. Danny is able to apply his depth of musical knowledge in a really fun, positive and accessible way. He has an instinctive ability to respond to the needs of young people. I don't have to nag Jamie to practice and he really looks forward to every lesson. Danny's enthusiasm and approachability are so infectious my whole family would like to take lessons with him! I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

Danny taught my son Hal in North East London for over 5 years and every minute of it was an inspiration and a pleasure. He is an amazing, one-of-a-kind teacher, always friendly and positive, who knows how to instruct and incentivise children without any kind of pressure. This meant my son couldn’t wait to get there every week and made rapid progress with technique and theory. Danny personalises lessons for his students, allowing them to express their ideas and contribute to the song choices. Hal is now a confident, self-driven musician who plays the drums in his school band and associates drumming with feeling great about himself all thanks to Danny. He was so fond of his lessons every Saturday that when we found out the drum school was moving to Southampton we genuinely considered commuting. You won't find a better drum teacher!
