Walked to the reception to ask for an appointment for my 3 year old for a non urgent situation. Was asked to call at 8am to get an appointment. Being in the healthcare sector and knowing how urgent and non urgent appointments work, i questioned why i have to call during the time for urgent appointments only whilst her situation was non urgent and was told there is appointment at all to give. Not even in weeks. Does that mean there is no appointment forever unless you call at 8??

I visited Droylsden Family practice for an ECG with Mags. She came out with a lovely smile on her face, right on time. I have Found it extremely difficult to see any doctor since COVID 19, I explained this to Mags as I was concerned what was wrong with me. She manged to arrange for me to see the doctor immediately. I was extremely grateful for her for that. I last saw her in June 2022 when she took my blood and manged to get it first time as usually others have issue doing this. I am really grateful for the experience she has given me, she accompanied me to the door when leaving which was a massive help. Thanks very much Mags! Leaving on behalf if my Gran she has asked me to leave this for you thanks x

why they're still doing phone appointments and not face to face is BEYOND ME. Henryetta was rude and could not of cared less about me or my wellbeing.

The surgery is improving in the last 8 weeks however the receptionist Henryetta has a bad reputation in the community due to her lack of people skills. People ringing the doctors are vulnerable and whenever I've spoken to her I've been left to feel worse. How she is still in a job I do not know.

My mum tried to get appointment for 3 days after an intensive care consultation who was looking after my dad for a strep a infection said she needed antibiotics the surgery kept saying nothing they could do as no appointment surprise surprise after 3 x 1 hour and half waits still no joy and having to physically go and get an appointment at 8am. Still waiting on practise manager ringing…. Receptionist don’t who public health England are! And too top it off to be told only 1 gp on site! Let’s joker there was no massive emergency as it would all go down one gp and their head.

If I could put a 0 star review I would. Even before lock down I didn’t have the best experience with this doctors and booking appointments. Now however it’s actually impossible to see someone. I’ve been told that you can’t get a bookable appointment and the only way to see someone is to call at 8am. How are you supposed to manage that if you work full time. When explaining that my need wasn’t an emergency the receptionist was rude and just say that’s all there is. Disgusting

Staff are rude and very unhelpful. Phoned up for emergency prescription because the chemist decided it needed to take 2days to do my prescription and I got told by the lady on the phone there is no doctor in the practise at 4.30pm when the practise closes at 6.30pm not very great is it. Then got told not sure what you want me to advise. Great receptionist. Avoid at all cost probably end up killing you !!!
