"Drifting Away" quality and freshness of food has gone down hill since we last came here. The coffee weren't that good, but for being open for 45mins why an earth are the sausages bone dry and rock hard burnt brown 1/3 of the way through. Pouring half used classes of water back into the table water carafe, bit odd!

Withered lettuce.... I've dined at Drifters in the past and the menu and food has always been great. We ordered 2 salads as mains and sadly there were far too many withered, blackened, slimy lettuce leaves to pick out of the food (if you're a salad eater like me, that's a big NO NO). Mentioned to the head waitress but she just said she'd pass it on to the kitchen. Yes, we should've pushed the complaint, asked for a replacement or discount off the bill, but we didn't push it and just left feeling really disappointed. The food would've been great without the withered, slimy salad leaves. I won't be going back.
