If you want good care do not go to the Renal Ward at Doncaster hospital. If you go in with an illness unrelated to Kidney Disease but are on Dyalasis be prepared to not come out as care is shocking. One nurse does not know what the other is doing. They do not read your notes and therefore are not up to date with your care. Blunder after Blunder of mistakes made and if you are old and a bit confused you do not stand a chance. After being in there fo 16 days when Dyalisised potassium level dangerously high because of rubbish diet in there. The whole point of kidney disease is to eat a low potassium diet. Well you certainly won’t get it in there. Be aware you will not be coming out too soon if at all because of sheer incompetence.
