Place okay for what I needed it for, quick stay and somewhere to sleep. Pleased with the price, although wasn’t expecting a £100 deposit to be paid. However I paid it and was told 7-10 days for it to be returned. Skip forward 3 weeks and no deposit returned. I’ve rang hundreds of times to get no answer, left voicemails, no return call, emailed, no return email. This means I will never stay here again as £100 is a lot of money to lose. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent incident that occurred during my stay at your hotel. Specifically, not only was I asked to move rooms in order to accommodate another customer who had requested my room and told to “just pack our bags and move” but I also experienced an issue with the sink in my original room. The sink in my room had its piping removed, which caused it to leak into a bucket. This was not only unsightly and unpleasant, but also posed a safety hazard as the bucket could overflow and cause water damage to the room. While I understand that unexpected situations can arise, I find it unacceptable that these issues were not addressed prior to my arrival. This caused a great deal of inconvenience and discomfort during my stay, as I had to navigate around a bucket of dirty water and pack up my belongings to move rooms. Furthermore, I believe that as a paying customer, I have the right to expect a certain level of cleanliness and maintenance in my accommodations. The fact that the sink was not functioning properly was a clear violation of this expectation. I would like to request a formal apology for the inconvenience caused, as well as some form of compensation for the disruption to my stay and the unsafe conditions in my original room. I hope that in the future, your hotel will prioritize the needs and comfort of its guests, and take greater care to maintain its facilities. TL;DR : Book sonewhere else. 오지 마라면 오지 마 쫌 A studio apt is offered for 50 quid/night. You enter the lobby. There is someone in the line. You overhear a 100 quid deposit. It’ll be fine, you hope. ‘I already paid for it’. It isn’t. You wait for 10 minutes because of this debacle in front of you. Annoyed, you give the receptionist your card. She also asks for the card number. You fumble with your banking app, since the cell coverage is poor. You enter the room. The wifi has a password. You look for the password. There isn’t any. There wasn’t even a short ‘welcome’ note. You call the reception but they don’t answer. You call again, and again. They still don’t answer. Resigned, you go down 7 floors to the reception. They print you the welcome note. You want some ventilation. There are no fans in the bathroom. You open the window. You try to close it. It does not budge. The guy who helped with the windows says they are ‘finniky’ but planned to be replaced. He is very helpful. You take a bath. There is no soap, just body wash-shampoo combi. There are no hair dryers. But there is an oven and a dishwasher. You decide to call the reception tomorrow. You lie on the bed. It feels like the beds in a college dorm. A simple topper would’ve fixed this. There is also a pink stain. You try to fall asleep, windows closed. You remember you haven’t locked the door. You go lock it, since there is no automatic door locks. You call the reception. They answer on the 6th try. They say they will bring it. Half an hour passes. There is no one. You call again. They do not answer. Resigned, you go down to the reception again. They claim they did send someone. You casually mention the bedroom door won’t lock. They say someone will be there. But no one comes. 15 minutes later, doorbell rings. Someone brought the dryer. Finally, a shower. Service : Not caring (that’s bad) Equipment : The important bits(doors, beds, etc) are horrible. However, has fiber(~100Mbps), dishwasher, washer+dryer, etc. Price : Acceptable These people really need to get their priorities in order. And get rid of the shady £100 deposit which is not mentioned ANYWHERE.
