Nice to find a real chippy, I live Leicester way (born elsewhere) where they call scallops fritters. Why??? Felt right at home here. Had haddock and chips, nice fresh crispy batter succulent fish and nice chips. The lovely lady even offered scraps, for me that's a blast from the past. Great stuff see you next time I'm in the area.

This isn't my first time ordering food from this shop, but this one tops it. The food was appalling and disappointing! I ordered a haddock and chips at 8.25pm and it was delivered at 8.56pm and I chose not to have scraps in my chips. Half of the chips were missing from the box and all of them were either over cooked and burnt. Also, the majority of the chips were scraps! Apart from the drink and the fish, which was fine, everything else was disappointing. If you find similar reviews on Google and on other take away websites, for your sake...believe them! Maybe it's better to order in person during the day but from my experience, it's very disappointing. Update: I ordered through Just Eat and other people have commented that some of their order was missing. My previous orders from this shop also went missing when ordered through Just Eat. So don't order through just eat...or from this place at all. Hope this helps!
