After three of the flats in the block of flats had an issue with plumbing, I remembered a friend of mine had recently started working for Drain Doctor. I gave him call, and after he logged the job, he got back with a convenient time when myself and other flat owners would be available. Lee arrived on time, looking very smart and professional, and introduced himself to one of the other flat owners. Lee did a thorough job checking for the cause if the issues we experiencd. Knowing someone is all well and good, it's if they can do the job, do it professionally etc that really counts - and I have no hessitation saying Lee ticked all those boxes. I would have no issues recommending Drain Doctor. *Disclaimer - even though I know the guy that was called out, this has not influenced my review*

Tony arrived, quickly assessed what the problem had been and rectified it and gave us some useful advice too to try to avoid a repeat incident. He also checked the chambers outside our house and our neighbours too. Excellent service and a very polite young gentlemen too. We shall not hesitate to call on Drain Doctor if we ever need their services again.

On my initial call to drain doctor, having discussed the issue they advised I contact the water board as the particular issue sounded like it could be a shared sewer issue which would be resolved for free. Whilst this turned out not to be the case, the fact the company prioritised the solution over profits was reassuring. Once the water company had confirmed the issue was domestic, Drain Doctor quickly gave me a time slot. The plumber (Tony) contacted me as he was available early, which I welcomed. On arrival Tony quickly established the severity of the issue and explained the implications of every course of action and associated costs. Also telling me he had another appointment (priority as it was a care home) but if he had to depart he would return to fix our issue. He was meticulous in working through every option in order to minimise disruption, damage and cost. Eventually gaining access to 'the worst block he'd ever seen' shrowded in uncertainty as to whether he could resolve it without dismantling the drainage stack (which would have been a disaster), he managed to jet through the block and clear our drains. Whilst they may not be the cheapest company out there, I would absolutely recommend! They sent out the right person, with the right equipment to get the job done, keeping me informed throughout, and he did not give up. An unpleasant job well done!
