Ok ish. The restates huge. Decor looks nice but tired. The guest were divided into authentic and foreigners! Through a wall. So you wonder if different food was served. The beef was nice and I had the driest char Sui pork ever. Being in London I think I had the privilege of having some of the best Chinese food and this wasn’t one of them.

We had a late booking for dinner which was accepted as they don't close until 11pm. We arrived shortly after 9 and had the most disgusting experience. There were only three tables occupied and when one of the tables were emptied the staff soon started cleaning the tables and sweeping the floors and mopping after, whilst we were still finishing our starters. We were entertaining friends from Sweden who looked rather dismayed and wondered if that could not wait until we finished our meals. So I did kindly ask them to stop their rude activities. It was only a quarter to ten for heavens sake. The manager was busy talking to a table which was still occupied with guests. Beer was spilt over our fried rice and a big puddle was left.We had to ask and waited for five mins before it got cleared up and beer replaced. Rice was taken away as it was soggy with spilled beer and we had to ask for a new dish to be replaced. We had to ask for bowls, cutlery and napkins. It was a most embarrassing evening especially as we had guest from abroad who wanted to try a Chinese cuisine. We are regulars and enjoyed coming there albeit not too often. When I approached the supervisor we had to hear his sob stories of staff problems but no genuine apologies. We were presented the bill and to our surprise there was even a service charge of 14 %.That really made me decide to write a review. We are appalled to have to pay the amount of close to £100.00 for a meal that was all served at once so that when we finished our starter of crispy duck the rest of the food was stone cold! I hope management will read this review and get back to us to try and reason with us, but I doubt very much they will. Our recommendations sure will not stretch to a five star service nor food and staff. We were there the evening of May 10 2023 and left the restaurant at 10.25 so well before their closing time!!!
