Called in today for a short notice checkup after being seen last week. Despite Shaila and the Nurse - Violeta coming close to ending their shift, they both made time to review my teeth and with Shaila given me detailed feedback, which meant a lot. I have been under the care of Dr. Shaila Patel-Buxton for some Invisalign treatment and some fillings. To say that I am impressed and happy with the results is an understatement... I am absolutely over the moon! I was quite nervous about some aspects of the treatment, but I didn't need to be because Shaila made me feel at ease during my appointments with her calm and caring nature. On top of that my teeth look absolutely fabulous and I can smile with confidence.

I had not been to a dentist for a very very long time and too long to mention on here, mainly as I didn't have great experiences in the past. I intuitively found Shaila as I was looking for a holistic dentist and thankfully my gut led me to the right person. The service at every level was excellent. Both herself and Violetta (assistant) are two very warm compassionate and professional people. They explained every step of the process from the outset and were always checking in with me to see if I was ok. I was truly dreading the process as I had not been to a dentist for so long but they were absolutely brilliant for managing a very anxious client (Me). I just felt totally safe and confident in their very capable hands. I could not recommend Shaila enough. She is a natural at putting people at ease as well as being very skilful and thorough with the whole process. So from the bottom of my heart a very big thanks to you both and you were a blessing and sending you both many blessings in return

This is a long review, but if you have the chance to read through then please do! I first saw Dr Shaila for a consultation three weeks ago, as somebody who suffered extreme dental phobia I had to see somebody who was going to align with my concerns and guide me every step of the way, and that is exactly what Dr Shaila Patel Buxton did. She listened to all of my concerns, my dental history and even looked into the mental health aspect of it, reassuring me every step of the way. It was really refreshing how she was able to make me so comfortable upon the first consultation. I needed quiet a lot of work doing and she made me a treatment plan which was fantastic, clear and concise, very easy to follow. I’m now in the third week of treatment and she has been incredibly gentle, caring, supportive and the work she has done turning my oral health around is just nothing short of magical. Both Shaila and her assistant Violetta are absolutely amazing in what they do. If you’re a dental phobic patient then please consider getting booked in with Dr Shaila, I’m not kidding when I say she has genuinely changed my life, and I don’t say that often about anything! Thank you both Dr Shaila and Violetta. I look forward to continuing my treatment with you both. Also a big shout out to the BUPA bank dental team, the front of house admins are always extremely helpful and after every treatment I’ve had they’ve always called me the day after to check how I was doing. I was stunned at the level of attention to detail at this practice. Thank you!

With a number of advanced techniques and a high level of hygiene safety you can feel assured you are in good hands with Shaila Patel-Buxton and her highly skilled assistant Violeta at The Natural Dentist & Bupa Dental Bank Your emotional and mental well-being as well as physical health of your teeth is exceptionally well looked after and a top priority. As a nervous patient; time is taken to be sure I am comfortable, able to be part of the process and informed at every moment. I can take things slow or stop and have a breather anytime needed. My fears have been significantly reduced. I particularly like the use of the wand; a gentle, painless way to administer anaesthetic and numbing affect pre injections. For those that don’t like the drilling noise; gentle music is available or you can watch something of choice as a distraction. The dental work, care and technologies used with Shaila are an exceptional standard. There is nothing more delightful than to have your dental health, your beautiful smile and confidence restored. I am filled with tears of joy. Highly recommended Dentist.

She is very open and honest, and helps me to stay calm and understand my dental issues. It’s rare to find dentists who will take time to explain thoroughly or who genuinely care about patients like she does.
