My daughter valued the input from Dr Karim. It was obvious to us that she needed help with social anxiety and the associated poor sleep and Dr Karim was able to prescribe what was needed. This then meant that she could make better use of her talk therapy (with a psychologist) as the anxiety was much more in check.

I have only praises for my experience; I managed to get an appointment fairly quickly (Dr Karim’s secretary is fantastic, always polite and helpful and definitely going the extra mile), and I was certainly very impressed with Dr Karim: she is knowledgeable, she listened to all my concerns and not once dismissed my worries, she put my son at ease and all the process went smoothly. I have received the final report and I am surprised by the amount of information I found there: not only she goes into details about the diagnosis and my son’s strengths and weaknesses, but she has provided me with people to contact to proceed in helping my son, books to read to help me understand the diagnosis and to help with parenting a child with autism, and lots of information to give to the school to help my son in his academic path. It is going to be a long and certainly difficult process, but I now feel validated and hopeful we can make it work. This comes after spending years having my worries dismissed by doctors and schools alike because my son is academically gifted, and no one would care about all the struggles i reported; my son was classified as gifted but lazy, I was told it must have had to do with parenting done wrong on my side, and that if he struggled in some subjects or in some parts of his every day life he was to blame for not working hard enough. I was getting ready to admit defeat when a colleague suggested Dr Karim, and now I have hope once again. I know I might sound overly enthusiastic, but the relief of finally having answers and support is quite hard to express without getting a bit emotional. It’s been a difficult and long process, and I am grateful for Dr Karim and her expertise and empathy, and for once again making me feel like I am doing an ok job as a parent.

We had an assessment for ADHD for our daughter, aged 6. Dr Karim was excellent. We felt very supported and listened to. The report is detailed and thorough. The only minor issue we had was that the child's questionnaire, which they answer themselves, wasn't tailored to a 6 year old's intellect. We had to work quite hard to translate some of the statements in a way she could understand then answer. Other than that, it was an excellent service and we are going back to Dr Karim for an ASC assessment in 2 months.
