i was a bit nervous and anxious worried i have suffered with ADHD since was a child age 6 years and referred to many didn't doctors and support nobody listened to me until now i'm 39 years. Overwhelmed and extremely relieved after my assessment with Dr Khan today, it was an incredible experience. I went to my GP 3 months ago and was referred for an ADHD assessment - I am surprised at how quick they managed to book my assessment as I’m aware that there is usually a long wait. I’m 24 and started displaying behavioural issues at the age of 10, was misdiagnosed with major depressive disorder and then bipolar, found that no medications or antidepressants helped, I could never work out why my mind felt so busy and why I have always struggled with concentration - it has especially affected my education massively over the years. After learning more about ADHD from social media & starting to do my own research, I decided to look into it further. I’m so, so glad that I did. I received my diagnosis today after a very thorough appointment with Dr Khan. Hearing that I’m going to be given a treatment plan & medication to try, which can help with my concentration, is a huge relief & I’m so excited for this next chapter. Dr Khan, thank you for fitting me in so quickly and for being so thorough, empathetic & patient. I was not talked over at any point, I was carefully listened to and I did not feel rushed. I haven’t had the best experience with other psychiatric doctors but this was by far the best mental health appointment I’ve ever had. It is clear that Dr Khan cares about his patients, especially after reading the other reviews. This is exceptionally difficult to find nowadays, please know that your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed. Myself and my family finally have an explanation, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

With large waiting lists for adult ADHD assessments around the country I was getting myself ready for months of waiting and was given an appointment within weeks!
