After a catastrophic 1.5 years of NHS appointments trying to help my Long Covid I was left in a terrible place. The NHS told me there was ‘nothing more they could do’ and I was having to navigate that disappointment (and scare) alongside my already Debilitating conditions. I spent hours and days trawling the internet for the latest research and treatments. I didn’t know who to turn to and really felt like I was going it alone. In total despair, I was recommended Dr Ben Sinclair. He is truly compassionate, inquisitive and pragmatic in his approach to treating long covid. Totally unlike any other Dr I’ve worked with. When you’ve got an ever evolving crisis like LC it’s so important to have a Dr that is able to build the plane whilst flying it. Ben can do exactly that. Dr Sinclair has been treating me for Long Covid for about a year. When I first went to him I was in a pretty dire situation- having had no treatment from the NHS, I couldn't work or live independently and I was suffering from some pretty extreme symptoms. I was feeling pretty hopeless. As he has had LC himself he really understood what I was going through and listened to all the strange symptoms I had with patience and curiosity. It was such a relief to find someone who actually wanted to investigate why I had the symptoms and treat them rather than just shrug! He was able to create a tailor made treatment plan including medications and lifestyle changes. I am now working again, have minimal symptoms and so much more hope for the future. I can't thank him enough and would really recommend anyone with chronic illness- particularly any of those the NHS don't understand and won't treat- to seek treatment with him.

LONG COVID CLINIC Dr Sinclair has been absolutely brilliant. When I first started appointments I was extremely ill with long covid. Straightaway I felt such relief, speaking with someone so compassionate who also completely understood having gone through long covid himself.
