Went in November 2021 for bumps on my forehead and was told with certainty that it was keratosis pilaris. Well nearly 2 years after the bumps actually emerged (summer 2021) I have finally discovered it's fungal acne. I was told products to use and none of them worked that well. After the initial in person appointment we only had telephone appointments. I believe we had 2 and on the second one he asked how much better it was. I said 80% because it had improved a bit but later realised I had drastically overestimated. However he had already told me that we no longer would need to communicate if it was 80% better. I emailed his receptionist later that day saying it was probably only 40-50% better (still don't even know the accuracy of that as I'm not a dermatologist so was purely guessing) but in her response she said that he said he could no longer help me. This is confusing as if I had just said it was only 40-50% better on the phone initially I assume we would have continued speaking? Seems a bit bad to completely give up on a patient after barely 2 months as well. He suggested maybe laser from someone else but I knew that was a bit drastic. Well finally after so many products and other minsdiagnosises from other derms, I've discovered the actual problem and been able to mostly treat it myself. Just very frustrating as I went about 8-9 months thinking I had keratosis pilaris so was doing everything according to that with not much improvement and wondering why it wouldn't work. And according to so much I've read online (and that's seriously a LOT), keratosis pilaris is not really common to get on your forehead. It's mainly on the body and then if it's on the face it's usually the cheeks. So it's just strange to me that this was my diagnosis when it wasn't what I had at all. Waste of money and big waste of time.

Incredible dermatologist! Total 180 from previous GP appointments which constantly recommended me 1 form of treatment for my ezcema, steroids, which slowly increased in strength over the course of 4 years. He went through with me step by step about other treatment plans which I never knew existed prior to the visit, allowing me to research further for which was most appropriate for me. You can tell his depth of knowledge inside of dermatology. I highly recommend!

I have been diagnosed with skin problem in 2012 . Seen by all doctors in South Gate surgery Wakefield and they ended up keep saying that it’s common problem in men in this country and it can’t go away soo keep using medication cream and don’t come for this next time. Then finally I decided to see doctor Faheem lateef in February 2021 .. I found him on google .. he charged me £200 .. and problem fixed in one month.. since then I have no problem at all . And if someone needs proof please contact me.. I still have one .. and big thanks to doctors faheem lateef ...
