I came to Ed at Amblecote Dental for Invisalign as I had always been self conscious about my overjet and crowded teeth, but had not been able to have braces as a teenager. I am a very nervous patient but Ed went above and beyond to explain the whole process, answer all of my questions (of which there were many!) and provide reassurance. He listened to my concerns/worries and worked with me to develop a treatment plan I was happy and comfortable with, which made me feel a lot more confident about the whole process. I had Invisalign for around 8 months in total and found the process really easy to follow. I was given lots of really helpful information/advice throughout, and was able to keep in touch with the team and be monitored weekly through the dental monitoring app. This was really useful as it meant I didn't have to come into the practice too often and I had more confidence that I was ready to move onto my next aligner each week as each week my progress was checked and I was told whether I could move on or stay on the same aligner for a few more days. Throughout my Invisalign, I had attachments, IPR and elastic bands. I had been very nervous about these aspects of my treatment as I really do struggle with dental treatment, but Ed put me completely at ease and I didn't experience any pain/discomfort. Once I had finished my Invisalign, I then moved onto whitening. I had some difficulties with this due to sensitive teeth, but Ed worked with me to find a solution and I managed to get my teeth to a shade I was happy with. After the whitening, I also had some bonding to fix a few teeth which were chipped or worn down. Again, this was something I was very nervous about, but it was really easy and I had no pain or discomfort at all. Overall, I'm so happy with how my teeth have turned out and how easy it has all been. It's given me so much more confidence and I love smiling now. I also feel like I have made huge progress in conquering my fear of the dentist, which is all down to Ed and his team and how amazing and understanding they have all been. I really can't reccommend Ed and Amblecote Dental enough!

Ed was recommended to me by multiple friends, and after my partner who knew I was self-conscious of my teeth and smile encouraged me to go for a consultation. My bottom set of teeth had one tooth discoloured as it was set back from the rest and hard to clean. I had other imperfections but that certainly was my biggest worry. So after having a consultation with Ed and him putting me to ease with how simple and straightforward the Invisalign process would be as long as I stayed disciplined and followed the advice I was given I agreed to the course. 24 aligners later and a couple of checkups along the way and my smile had been transformed. I decided to have a few extra aligners to alter a few bits and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Once that was done the whitening process started and because of having discoloured teeth I was excited for this, 3 weeks down the line and my teeth were transformed and are now at a stage which is completely unrecognisable from where I started. I’m currently using my retains roughly 22 hours a day and they don’t bother me at all. All in all I’m extremely happy with the results and Ed has been brilliant every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend Ed enough, he’s been professional and friendly the entire journey and put me at ease and I’m sure I’m not the only person who feels that way. Thanks for the new smile! Rich

Been with Ed for a few years now, he knows his stuff and explains everything very clearly. Right from the start Ed knew how conscious I was about having straight teeth for my wedding and based my treatment around that. Although treatment is still ongoing I was very pleased on the day of my wedding back in June. As my teeth have come on great, one of my front teeth was slightly shorter than my other and Ed built it up in time for the day to allow me to feel comfortable as i was so anxious about my smile but on the day I smiled with so much more confidence. If anyone who is thinking about braces/orthodontic treatment I would 100% recommend to have it as I was in two minds because of finances but I'm glad I did as I was embarrassed by my teeth before. Furthermore I'd 100% recommend Ed for completing the work as he's committed to getting the final result that your after, easy to talk to and goes the extra mile.
