Dr Cottam is a rude individual who is horrid to the other staff and doesn't understand the definition of patient dignity. She has a number of patients. In the same room getting treatment. My sibling went to see her, and she spoke about my sibling like they were not in the room!

Honestly, I don't think I've come across a more shady business than this. They didn't allow a parent in with a minor, they refused to send paperwork out, they never answer calls or respond to messages. This has caused a delay in my sons treatment by afew years. How the NHS has allowed this circus to stay open is a mystery.

Excellent experience. Dr Cottam made my son go upstairs and watch a video by himself to show his independence. The building is open door and Staff are friendly so I am not overly concerned. My experience made me realise how much independence my son needs to have braces as he will have to be sensible taking care of them and adjusting his eating habits. Going up the stairs to watch a video demonstrates to the Orthodontist that he is independent and able to take responsibilities. Dr Cottam has a carefully thought out care pack for £10. It was a lifesaver for someone as busy as me! I have read the previous reviews and it appears that these children are not socialised in public environments and struggle to show that independence

Dr cottam and emma are amazing 4 of my daughter's have been to them for their teeth and have had amazing results, i would definitely recommend the practice.Gill is very straightforward and tells it how it is and im glad she does as the girls have learned how important their teeth are hence why we use the practice thank you Gill for all your work and to Emma also

Please DO NOT GO HERE! all they care about is your money! My retainers broke TWICE. I'm convinced there is something wrong with the wire. When I had braces the wire would also break and it was just a horrible experience. I still have issues with my teeth as I suffer from major body dysmorphia and as their dental care motto goes around, it's to be happy with your smile. clearly not. The place is so unprofessional but for free health care what do I even expect. They just want to get on with the job and also are doing the bare minimum. Some of the staff are nice, it's a hit or miss. The waiting time is RIDICULOUS ALL THE TIME. even pre-covid. the entire set up of the rooms are odd. As I said, this place only seems to care about your money. No one wants to pay £84 for a faulty retainer in the first place. It's so gross. I took such good care of my retainers because I'm really insecure of my teeth and would do anything. This is such a jarring experience.
