Dr Ahmed offered no help / treatment options / advice & chastised patient for having an appointment. Trying to keep someone with a mentally challenging condition positive is really hard and made worse by careless and insensitive manner from the doctor.

Absolutely horrible experience, Drs that cannot be bothered with patients and seem like they hate their job. Was told by some arrogant fed up male doctor, that I have wear and tear and if we X-rayd everyone my age we would see this. Can’t help me and was extremely rude. I will never ask for a GP appointment again

Posting under a pseudonym as fear the backlash. Very unfriendly practice. Some GPs seem ok, but the reception staff are horrible. It's unclear why GPs run their practices in such a hostile fashion that demonstrates nothing more than sheer hate for patients, but this practice is a prime example of the inverted notion of NHS health care - they don't care, and your health will suffer. I think a lot of GP senior partners would be better off pursuing their profits in selling timeshares or similar, as they have no interest in public health and patients just seem an inconvenience to them.

I have been left in massive pain because of dr. Kathryn Maguire, I had a sever pack pain, she doesn’t accept to let me come in to the Medical center and see her, refuse to do me an x-ray and refuse to refer me to the physiotherapist. She said that my problem with my muscles, when I had seen private physio after few days of pain, he found out that one of the spinal desks has moved and it was pushing hard on the nerve which caused inflammation in the area. She is not good enough to deal with the human life because she treats them carelessly. If you want to register with this GP stick with dr. Marshals or Dr. Razwan they are the best.

Since four weeks I receive weekly text from this surgery to get an appointment for Flu-jab; yesterday was the latest reminder. I rang up surgery, after listening 'all instructions - do & don'ts' I was told I'm in Q at number 17. I finished my call and went to the surgery in person. A receptionist attended me and instead of giving me an appointment she told me that: '...there is no Flu-jab in stock; we'll call you later'. I smilingly asked that how would you call me; you've not asked my details. She rudely informed me that doesn't matter, we'll call you. If someone confirms that if this surgery has got some telepathy gadget installed to know about the incoming patient. I also doubt that [short statured / new face at reception] this receptionist exercised her choice of 'hate-feelings' with Asian patients. It was a bad experience - like ever. Inam .....

My wife has been with this surgery 71 years (originally on Wellington Road) she has received excellent care and would not change. Yes there have been many changes but this has not affected the care given. People, stop moaning and groaning about the health centre, at least you have one, some folk don't. Thank you Heaton Norris Health Centre.

Personally found it easy to get appointments and found the reception much better than my previous surgery. Dr. Canning & Maguire have been my favorite so far and never felt rushed in the appointments, or that I'm wasting their time.
